I greet you today in the mighty and awesome name of Jesus! Let us take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God and how He has shattered the prison bars of sin for us.

If you are already walking with the Lord, I encourage you to recommit daily to your covenant with Him. No matter what trials come your way, stand firm for Christ. If you haven't yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, I urge you to seek Him with all your heart today. The time is now!

A Spiritual Self-Evaluation

When was the last time you did an honest self-evaluation? Do you feel weighed down by burdens that seem to have no end? Sometimes, the heavy "fog" we feel in our souls is due to the meddling of the enemy. Satan, the accuser of the brethren, wants to keep God's people in bondage.

But Galatians 5:1 (AMP) reminds us: “It was for this freedom that Christ set us free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Just as the Israelites celebrated the Passover to remember their exodus from Egypt, we must remember that God’s desire is for our complete liberation from "The Works of the World."

The Roar of the Lion

Recently, I woke up with an intense, heavy burden for souls—my family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers. The intensity was so strong that all I could do was pray. 1 Peter 5:8 warns us to be alert because the devil prowls around "like" a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

My pastor once made a powerful point: the enemy comes like a lion, but he is not the true King. He is a counterfeit. He is nothing compared to the true and living God—Jesus Christ, the conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah!

The Pharaohs of Our Generation

In the world today, we are inundated with social media and worldly desires that pull us away from studying the Word. Many are trapped in prisons of the mind, deceived by the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. We see a government system where moral values are often ignored, yet we still print "In God We Trust" on our currency.

Where is the Church? We need a Church that will stand up and say "No" to the Pharaohs of this time. Unity is our strength; a household divided cannot stand (Matthew 12:25). We must put off the works of this world and put on the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-26).

Your Assignment is Possible

Think of Moses. On his own, he was no match for Pharaoh’s army. He even pointed out his own inadequacies to God. But God didn’t argue with Moses about his weaknesses; He simply pointed to Himself (Exodus 3:11-12).

God is looking for men and women today who will rely on His strength to fulfill their purpose. Whether it’s in your home or your workplace, there is a task awaiting you to help set people free from the works of this world.

The Power of Midnight Praise

When you step out to fulfill the Great Commission, expect opposition. Paul and Silas were stripped, beaten, and thrown into a dungeon for preaching the Gospel. But instead of complaining, they chose a different weapon: Praise.

At midnight, they were singing hymns when a massive earthquake shook the prison to its foundations. Every door flew open, and every chain fell off (Acts 16:25-26). There is undeniable power in your praise!

Don't let the souls around you pass by. Your obedience to God’s task might be the very thing that breaks the chains for someone else. Meditate on the Word, apply it to your life, and use your prayers and your praise as your weapons.
