1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to the website of JD&L Mission International Corp ("JD&L Mission," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, including any content, functionality, donation features, forms, and services offered on or through it (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing, browsing, donating through, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information about your rights and obligations, limitations on our liability, and how disputes are resolved.

2. About Us

JD&L Mission International Corp is a faith-based nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to serve local and international communities through tangible aid and spiritual nourishment, feeding the hungry, sharing the Word of God, and making disciples.

3. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age or who have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By making a donation, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement and that any payment method you use belongs to you or that you have authorization to use it.

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

4. Permitted Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes consistent with our charitable mission. You agree that you will not:

Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our servers, or any systems or networks connected to the Site;
Use any robot, scraper, spider, or other automated means to access, copy, or monitor any portion of the Site;
Introduce viruses, malware, or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks used to make it available;
Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, including fraudulent donation or payment information;
Impersonate JD&L Mission, our staff, volunteers, or any other person or entity;
Harvest or collect personal information about other users of the Site;
Use the Site to harass, abuse, threaten, defame, or otherwise infringe the rights of others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

5. Donations and Payment Processing

5.1 Voluntary Gifts

All donations made through the Site are voluntary charitable gifts to JD&L Mission International Corp. Donations are not payments for goods or services, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift unless we expressly state otherwise at the time of the donation.

5.2 Payment Processing by Stripe

Donations are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. When you make a donation, your payment card and billing information is submitted directly to Stripe and is handled according to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy, available at stripe.com.

We do not collect, process, or store your full payment card number, CVV, or bank account credentials on our servers. We receive only limited transaction information from Stripe, such as your name, email address, donation amount, date, and the last four digits and card brand of the payment method used.

By making a donation, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms of service. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, security practices, or availability of Stripe or any other third-party payment provider.

5.3 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when you donate. Donations may be declined, delayed, or reversed by Stripe or by your card issuer for reasons outside our control.

5.4 Currency and Fees

Unless stated otherwise, all donation amounts are shown and processed in United States dollars (USD). Your bank or card issuer may charge foreign transaction, currency conversion, or other fees, which are your responsibility. Stripe deducts a processing fee from each transaction; the remainder supports our mission.

5.5 Designated Gifts

Where the Site allows you to designate a gift toward a particular program or project, we will make reasonable efforts to honor that designation. However, consistent with IRS requirements for tax-exempt organizations and standard nonprofit practice, JD&L Mission retains full discretion and control over the use of all contributed funds. If a designated program is fully funded, discontinued, or no longer feasible, we will apply your gift to a similar purpose or to our general mission.

6. Recurring Donations

If you elect to make a recurring (for example, monthly) donation:

You authorize JD&L Mission, through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method the amount you specify on the recurring schedule you select, until you cancel;
Recurring donations continue automatically until cancelled by you or terminated by us;
You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by emailing jdlmissionintcorp@gmail.com or calling (845) 489-1166. Please allow up to five (5) business days for a cancellation to take effect; a charge already submitted for processing may not be able to be stopped, but may be refunded under Section 7;
It is your responsibility to keep your payment information current. If a recurring charge fails, we or Stripe may reattempt the charge, and we may contact you to update your payment details;
We will send a receipt or confirmation to the email address you provide for each recurring gift.

7. Refund Policy

We want every gift to be one you intended to make.

Full refunds. If you request a refund of a donation, we will refund the full amount of that donation to the original payment method.
How to request. Email jdlmissionintcorp@gmail.com or call (845) 489-1166 with your name, the donation amount, and the approximate date of the gift. We ask that requests be made within thirty (30) days of the transaction so that we can process the reversal through Stripe promptly. Requests made after 30 days will still be reviewed and honored wherever we are reasonably able to do so.
Timing. Approved refunds are typically issued within five (5) to ten (10) business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
Duplicate or erroneous gifts. If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or a charge was made without your authorization, contact us right away and we will correct it.
Recurring gifts. Refunding a recurring donation does not by itself cancel the recurring schedule. Please tell us if you would also like the recurring donation cancelled.
Tax receipts. If you receive a refund of a gift for which we issued a tax receipt or acknowledgment, that gift is no longer deductible. You are responsible for adjusting your tax records accordingly, and we will provide a corrected acknowledgment on request.

Rather than requesting a chargeback with your bank, we ask that you contact us first; we can almost always resolve the issue faster and at less cost to the mission.

8. Tax Deductibility and Receipts

JD&L Mission International Corp is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our EIN is [INSERT EIN].

We will provide a written acknowledgment for donations as required by IRS rules, including for any single contribution of $250 or more. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution unless we state otherwise in writing at the time of the gift.

JD&L Mission does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Please consult your own tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution in your particular circumstances.

9. Volunteering, Events, and Programs

Information about volunteering, events, mission trips, and programs on the Site is provided for general informational purposes. Participation may be subject to separate applications, waivers, background checks, agreements, or requirements that we provide to you separately. Nothing on the Site creates any employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between you and JD&L Mission.

We may photograph or record events and program activities. Where we intend to use a person's likeness in our materials, we will seek consent as appropriate and as required by law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site and all of its contents, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, audio and video, teaching materials, and the compilation and arrangement of that content, are owned by JD&L Mission International Corp. or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The name "JD&L Mission," "JD&L Mission International Corp," our logo, and related marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your own personal, noncommercial, or ministry use, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, republication, or commercial exploitation, requires our prior written consent.

Scripture quotations are taken from the King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain in the United States.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please contact us at jdlmissionintcorp@gmail.com with a description of the work, the location of the material on the Site, and your contact information, and we will respond promptly.

11. Content You Submit

If you submit content to us through the Site, including prayer requests, testimonies, comments, volunteer applications, photographs, or other materials ("User Content"), you retain ownership of that content. By submitting it, you grant JD&L Mission a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our ministry and communications, unless you tell us in writing that you do not wish it to be shared publicly.

You represent that you own or have the right to submit any User Content and that it does not violate any law or the rights of any third party. We may remove or decline to publish any User Content at our sole discretion. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, medical information, or confidential information through public forms on the Site.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources, including Stripe, social media platforms, mapping services, and partner ministries that are not owned or controlled by JD&L Mission. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, policies, security, or practices of any third party. Your use of a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms and privacy policy.

13. Spiritual, Educational, and Informational Content

Content on the Site including Scripture, devotional writing, teaching, and pastoral or spiritual encouragement, is offered for spiritual and educational purposes. It is not and should not be relied on as professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional regarding any medical, psychological, legal, or financial concern. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JD&L MISSION DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that the Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the Site.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JD&L MISSION INTERNATIONAL CORP AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU DONATED THROUGH THE SITE IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JD&L Mission International Corp and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

17. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. JD&L Mission does not sell, rent, trade, or lease your personal information or donor information to any third party.

18. Changes to the Site and to These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site where practical.

Your continued use of the Site after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes. Please review these Terms periodically. Changes to these Terms do not apply retroactively to donations already completed.

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue in those courts.

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at jdlmissionintcorp@gmail.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally. Many concerns can be resolved quickly this way.

20. General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, or transfer of our assets or ministry operations.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific programs or events, constitute the entire agreement between you and JD&L Mission regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
