The Word of God is the source of all existence. John 1:4-5 declares, “The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” Jesus entered this world so that we could receive the gift of Great Salvation. When we carry this light, we naturally draw others toward Christ, allowing us to fulfill the Great Commission: To win souls. We live in a world that often resists the light because it cannot comprehend it. However, the Good News remains: Jesus paid the price to set us free once and for all (Colossians 1:14).

Authority Through the Word

As children of God, we have been granted authority in Christ to preach to all nations. We are called to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons—giving as freely as we have received (Matthew 10:8). This Word must go forth so that "dry bones" can live again!

Do not fear, for the Lord is with you. If Christ is for you, who can stand against you? In Mark 11:18-19, we see a powerful reality: even as the religious leaders plotted to kill Jesus, they were paralyzed by the authority of His teaching. His Word was His protection. Because His mission had to be fulfilled, nothing could stop God's plan to save us from our sins.

Endurance and Peace

The world constantly tries to turn our minds away from the things of God, but we are equipped to endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises that God is faithful; He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can stand and will always provide a way out.

Jesus and His disciples were able to leave the city in perfect peace. This reveals a vital truth: when we walk with Jesus daily, fear has no place. The WORD works! It guards our hearts and paves our way, even in the midst of those who oppose us.

A Call to Respond

If you are reading this today and have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I urge you: do not harden your heart. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

We must submit our lives to Him before it is too late, for we are destined to face judgment after this life (Hebrews 9:27). The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Let us go forth to teach, preach, and make disciples, watching as lives are loosed from the bondage of sin and transformed by the power of Truth. Will you say "Yes" to Jesus today?

A Prayer for Transformation

Dear Jesus, We thank You for Your Word, which is a light unto our path. We repent of our sins and acknowledge our need for You to cleanse us. Your Word is alive and powerful—sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

Lord, let Your Word examine our hearts and expose any issues that hinder us from walking in Your light. We know Your Word works to renew, transform, and make us whole. Grant us the boldness to make disciples despite any persecution we may face. We desire a closer walk with You. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
