"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." — Romans 8:11

I rejoice today because this is the day the Lord has made! My heart is full, but I am also here to sound a spiritual alarm. As we look at the signs of the times, one truth stands taller than the rest: The Holy Spirit is necessary. It is not just a "bonus" for the super-spiritual; it is the very breath of the believer and the seal of our redemption.

The Great Exchange: From Presence to Power

In John 16:7, Jesus told His disciples something shocking: "It is expedient for you that I go away." Imagine their hearts sinking! They loved walking beside Him. But Jesus knew that while He was with them in the flesh, the Holy Spirit would be within them in power.

This is the "treasure in earthen vessels" (2 Corinthians 4:7). We are just fragile clay jars, but when filled with the Holy Ghost, we carry the same resurrection power that brought Jesus out of the grave.

Turning the World Upside Down

The Apostles didn't just have a religion; they had a fire. After the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2), they moved with such authority that the Bible says they "turned the world upside down" (Acts 17).

The Evidence: Just as in the book of Acts (Chapters 2, 10, and 19), the infilling of the Spirit is evidenced by speaking in other tongues.
The Impact: It wasn't just about the gift; it was about the harvest. Three thousand souls were added in a single day because Peter preached under the influence of that Power!

A Wake-Up Call in the House of Mourning

Recently, the Lord has used the "house of mourning" to speak to my heart. Attending funerals reminds us of a sobering reality: we do not know the day or the hour. Ecclesiastes 7:2 tells us it is better to go to a funeral than a feast because it forces the living to consider their end.

In the midst of grief, the Lord whispered to me: "The Holy Spirit is necessary." Without His Spirit dwelling in us, we have no bridge to eternity. Romans 8:9 is clear: "If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." ### Is Your Lamp Full? In Matthew 25, the wise virgins were ready because they had oil in their lamps. That oil is the Holy Ghost. We cannot afford to be caught without it.

I have a fire in my soul to tell you: The King is coming! Do not wait until the trumpet sounds to wonder if you are His. Seek the infilling of the Spirit today. It is a promise for you, your children, and all who are afar off.
