THE EVIDENCE: The Power of Your Testimony
Is your life a living testimony? Many of us wait for the "perfect time" to share what God has done, but Jesus tells us that the power to be a witness is already ours through the Holy Spirit. From the transformation of a visiting minister to the woman at the well, this blog explores why your personal story is the most powerful "evidence" that Jesus is alive and active in the world today.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8
Do you have a burning testimony of what the Lord has done for you? Are you aware that one of the most powerful weapons we possess as believers is our story of deliverance?
When I look back at where the Lord has brought me from, I see “THE EVIDENCE” of His goodness woven through every season. The Psalmist David invited us to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). When we shift our dependency from ourselves to His provision and protection, His goodness becomes visible to everyone around us. Today, I want to encourage you: do not lose hope, regardless of the setbacks you face! Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. In Christ Jesus, you are more than an overcomer!
A Conviction That Can't Be Hidden
Recently at my home church, a visiting minister shared a message titled “Take Off Thy Shoes.” As he preached, he shared a powerful testimony of how the Lord filled him with the Holy Ghost. He spoke with such conviction about his journey to Christ that you could practically see the "evidence" of God’s grace resting upon him. It was an experience that simply couldn’t be hidden.
To see this powerful testimony for yourself, I invite you to watch the service here: Watch: Faith Apostolic Ministries - Take Off Thy Shoes
Empowered to Witness
In our focus scripture, the Apostles were curious about the future, asking when the kingdom would be restored. Jesus redirected their focus from dates to duty. He told them that while the Father holds the authority over time, they were to receive the power of the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses.
Saints, we are God’s "Exhibits A and B." We are the proof to a skeptical world that Jesus is alive! I want to challenge you today to stand firm on the Word of God and never stop sharing what He has done. Your testimony is the bridge that brings hope to someone currently walking in darkness.
The Woman at the Well
Remember the woman at the well? Once she received the revelation that Jesus was the Messiah, she didn't just quietly reflect on it. She left her water jar behind, ran to her village, and cried out, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did!” (John 4:28-29).
Because of her "evidence," an entire village came to see Him. Because of her willingness to speak, many more heard His message and eventually declared, “Now we know that He is indeed the Savior of the world.”
Today is the day! Someone in your circle—a coworker, a neighbor, or a family member—needs to see the evidence of God's goodness through your life. Don't keep the miracle to yourself.
Be blessed in Jesus’ name!
