I greet you today in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ! Our hearts rejoice because our King is alive—the same yesterday, today, and forever. Today, let us declare that we shall dwell in the house of the Lord all our days, beholding His beauty and standing in His glorious presence. His Word is our daily bread, our portion, and our place of rest. Hallelujah!

A Divine Reality Check

This week, the Lord laid one specific word on my heart to encourage you: PRIVILEGED. In a world filled with chaos and the constant tug-of-war of our own sinful nature, did you know that you are privileged? I’m not talking about worldly status or wealth. I am talking about the staggering opportunity to be granted salvation through Jesus Christ. We are privileged to have access to the Throne of Grace and to hold a personal, intimate relationship with the Creator of the universe. Take a moment to let that truth settle into your spirit.

The Joy of Unmerited Favor

Recently, while driving to work, the weight of this word brought a deep, overwhelming joy to my soul. As I looked at God’s creation and felt His mercies, I was reminded of Romans 5:8: “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”

We didn't earn this. We don't deserve this "VIP access" to God. He knew our names before we were even conceived, and He set a plan in motion before the foundation of the world to redeem us through His precious blood.

The Power of a Humble Heart

We see this privilege in the life of Esther, who was granted favor to stand before the king and save her people. We also see it in the "Beatitudes," where Jesus says, “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him” (Matthew 5:3).

Being "poor in spirit" isn't about your bank account; it’s about humility. It’s the heart of a person who knows that, like a child, they will always need the Lord. King David understood this perfectly. Despite being a chosen king and a "man after God’s own heart," he didn't let his privilege turn into pride. When he sinned, he humbled himself in dust and ashes, fasting and seeking God’s face (2 Samuel 12). He knew that his standing with God was a gift he could never take for granted.

A Privilege Meant to be Shared

It is easy to get excited about God’s favor on our own lives, but this privilege isn't a secret to be kept. It is a mandate to be fulfilled!

When we truly realize how privileged we are, we must become like Isaiah—anointed to preach good tidings to the meek and liberty to the captives. We are privileged to carry the Great Commission. We have been entrusted with the plan of salvation (Acts 2:38), and we must tell a broken, shackled world that there is a true Love that sets people free.

The Apostle Peter reminds us that the Lord isn't being slow about His return; He is being patient because He wants everyone to repent (2 Peter 3:9).

Receive the Gift

If you are reading this and you aren't yet saved: Don't wait. You are being invited into a life of privilege—the privilege of being called a child of God and having your soul anchored in eternity.

If you are already saved: Go forth and shout! Tell the world what a privilege it is to lay every burden at His feet and receive a peace that the world cannot give (John 14:27).

Look up, child of God. You are chosen, you are loved, and you are highly privileged. Receive it in Jesus’ name!
