15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Praise the Lord!

In this passage, the Apostle Paul boldly declares his readiness to preach the gospel and his unwavering confidence in its power. Paul understood that the gospel of Jesus Christ is not merely words or doctrine—it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe.

Paul was not ashamed of the gospel because he knew firsthand what it could do. It transformed his life, redirected his purpose, and gave him a mission that extended beyond culture, background, and circumstance. The same gospel that reached the Jew also reached the Gentile, proving that God’s saving grace is available to all who believe.

Romans 1:17 reminds us that righteousness before God is not achieved through works, status, or human effort. It is revealed “from faith to faith.” From beginning to end, our relationship with God is sustained by faith. As Scripture declares, “The just shall live by faith.”

In a world that often pressures believers to remain silent or compromise truth, this passage challenges us to stand firm. Are we willing to share the gospel without fear? Are we confident that God is still working through His Word to save, heal, and restore lives?

Faith is not only how we begin our walk with Christ—it is how we live each day. We are called to trust God fully, rely on His promises, and boldly proclaim the truth of the gospel through both our words and our lives.

This week, let us examine our hearts. Are we living unashamed of the gospel? Are we walking by faith and allowing God’s power to work through us? May we, like Paul, be ready and willing to share the Good News wherever God sends us.
