to the ends of the earth”
Do you have a burning testimony of what the Lord has done for you? Are you aware that the most powerful weapons we have as believers is our testimony?
When I look back over my life and where the Lord has brought me from, I see “THE EVIDENCE” of His goodness upon me. The Psalmist David said in Psalm 34:8 “…taste and see that the LORD is good.” When we fully depend upon the Lord for our provision and protection we will experience the goodness of God all over our lives. Today I want to encourage you to not lose hope, regardless of the setbacks in this life! Revelation 12:11 says, “They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.” So just remember who you are in Christ Jesus!!!
YOU ARE MORE THAN AN OVERCOMER.
Recently at my home church a visiting Minister preached the topic “Take off thy Shoes.” While preaching the Minister shared a burning testimony of how the Lord filled him with the Holy Ghost. He testified with such great conviction of his experience on the journey of giving his life to Christ. In his testimony he reminded the church of the importance of having the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. It was an experience that couldn’t be hidden, and as the Lord spoke through the preacher I saw “THE EVIDENCE” of God’s goodness all over him. In our focus scripture, Jesus replied to His Apostles who asked Him “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our Kingdom?”(verse 6); Jesus replied “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everyone- in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth.” People of God, we are God's witnesses to reveal to the world, “THE EVIDENCE” that Jesus is ALIVE!! Today I want to challenge all of us to stand firm on the Word of God. Don’t stop sharing your testimony, for there is someone out there that needs hope through your testimony. It’s not by might, nor power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6) that people will see “THE EVIDENCE” of His goodness. The Woman at the well received a revelation, with evidence that Jesus is the Messiah who came to save the World from their sins. However, she didn’t keep it to herself; “The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could He possibly be the Messiah?” So the people came from the village to see Him.” (John 4:28-30). After she shared the goodness of the Messiah, the scripture said, “When they came out to see him, they begged him to stay in their village. So he stayed for two days, long enough for many more to hear his message and believe. Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard Him ourselves. Now we know that He is indeed the Savior of the world.”(John 4:40-42,NLT).
Someone needs to see “THE EVIDENCE” of the goodness of GOD, in Jesus name.
